CONTRIBUTING EXPERTS

ALEPH2020's interdisciplinary scientific consortium consists of 44 experts who endorse, review, and/or provide the website's content. They are active in the domains of food (bio)technology, (bio)chemistry, nutrition, public health, (cultural and biological) anthropology, cultural food studies, health psychology, environmental sciences, ecology, animal physiology, veterinary sciences, and (livestock) agriculture.

ALEPH2020 is pro bono publico and receives no funding; it has not been commissioned by an external party and none of the experts receive financial compensation for their contributions. The collective overlooks that there is no steering of the content by commercial outsiders, and any potential conflict of interest is on the account of the individual. The CoI statement of ALEPH's founder can be read here. All experts collaborate in own capacity; contributions do not reflect the opinion of their institution(s). Moreover, experts are not necessarily familiar with all topics covered by the initiative, especially those outside of their core expertise, and do therefore not necessarily endorse all content.
