FRAQUEZA Maria João

holds an MSc in Food Science and Engineering and a PhD in Veterinary Sciences. Nowadays, she is Associate Professor with aggregation in the area of Food Safety at the Department of Animal Production and Food Safety of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Lisbon (Portugal). Her research interests are related to the optimization and innovation of technological processes to improve the quality and safety of traditional meat products as well as poultry, with a particular interest in biopreservation. She is a member of the Committee Auchan and also seats in the Advisory Committee of the Health and Food Security Safety Plus Fund (DGAV).
