RAMDAS Sagari

(publications) obtained a degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from Haryana Agriculture University (India) in 1986 and a Master's in Animal Science from the University of California, Davis (USA) in 1991. She is a founder of Anthra, an organisation of women veterinary scientists, member of the Food Sovereignty Alliance (FSA), Honorary Research Fellow at the Centre for Agroecology, Water, and Resilience (CAWR) of Coventry University (UK), and head of the Popular Education Programme at the Kudali Inter-generational Learning Centre in Telangana. She works with pastoral, adivasi, and other small and marginal farming communities organizing for their livelihood, and writes on social justice, food sovereignty, livestock, and ecological governance.
